Butterflies
Documentaries put lighter demand on attention than cinema, but still offer plenty of surprises. So I’ve been watching mostly documentaries, but there was no real reason to mention any of them here yet. And while I’ve been skipping my cinema lately, it does not leave me and has caught up with me when I wouldn’t expect it.
Instead of cinema I’m currently on my second week of mild French prescription tranquilizers. I bet the French cinema will look even more lucid and crisply intelligent to me after the course.
Also I got a position as a security guard, guarding a road in a forest basically. If IT jobs are bullshit produced by the bull market then guarding a road in the forest is on the bearish side, but the shit will be yours and not the bear’s in case the convergence happens.
So what could go wrong with all this?
On my post I wear an orange jacket with light reflecting stripes. One day local orange butterflies got adventurous and started to fly everywhere. Some of them tried to get into my outpost and they were very persistent. And I ended up trying to fend them off while standing in the doorway almost Hitchcock’s The Birds style. But on the more tranquil side of course.
